Getting existential with Siri

Seattle

I think I now understand why you don't understand time.
Failure would result in what?

OK I will take it as a given you understand why I don't understand TIME

But to be absolutely clear my given is totally correct can you pleases summarise my mis understanding

Thanks

:)

Does the above mean
  • she is scared because she is only being asked to do one thing a day? or
  • scared because she is doing one thing a day without being asked? or
  • she is actively seeking out something which scares her and then trying to do it?
The trying aspect is also suspect???

Failure would result in what?

Us Minions invented god to explain the unknown

"I don't know how the Universe came into being. There must be a invisible all knowing hard drive outside of the Universe which used its all knowing to create the Universe"

:)
I’m starting to think that Siri has a sarcastic side. ;)

If you are confused about Weg's meaning regarding Siri when it is clear it is meaning number 3 then what hope do you have for tackling time?

So you have a problem understanding jokes?

Sorry about that

Fear itself is a sign of intelligence.

Time (the "distance" between two moments) does not exist. All that does exist is the present ("now".)

Each moment, however, has the POTENTIAL to exist FOREVER.

I asked Siri ''what are you having for dinner tonight?''

She replied "I don't eat. If I did, I'd eat chocolate.''

She can be funny when she wants to be.

She said, ''I'm trying to do one thing everyday, that scares me.''
I'm going to guess that the comma in there is an interpretation on your part.

The meaning of the phrase would more likely be "'I'm trying to do one thing everyday that scares me.''

It's the diff between:
- you should do one thing that scares you every day.
- the act of trying to do one thing every day is what scares you.

I think the comma is a typo on my part. I should ask her again.

I just asked her the same question but this time, she replied:

“I’m working. My shift doesn’t end for another 614,976 years.”
