We could send them a lovely Black & Decker circular powersaw to deal with that, but S.A.M. might complain about foreign interference. BTW your article calls Saif a "reformist", but I don't see what he was trying to reform other than his stupid dad's stupid costumes, and sending money to idiots who blow people up for more money rather than to idiots who blow people up for laughing at the size of Mohammed's c_ck.

I think here is where we should step in with generous offers of (nearly) unconditional economic assistance, the only condition being that the Libyan people agree through negotiations to a pluralistic, democratic government which announces its intentions to protect equal rights for all citizens, and vital personal freedoms like the freedom to associate and freedom of speech. No western oil companies at the table, please. The only people who should be talking about Libyan oil are the Libyans who want to drill and sell it for their own reasons and to their own benefit.
It is Empire building along Roman lines, where once the conquering is done, they appoint local people to run it for them.

It will make far more sense for the Captors to turn Saif over to the International Criminal Court, ICC. Then his sentence, if applicable, will not cause further conflict.
