Flesh is Flesh

If people through out the ages had not fought wars and died in the name of some deity or so called religous icon. Without these wars would the world population be a major problem, or was God invented to keep problems like this in hand.
 
If we were all believers or nonbelievers there would still be wars, all is neeede is the excuse.........

I've seen stupid atheists aswell as stupid theists, but atheists are generally more rational.

Yes, it is! You're probably one of those people. War can and will happen even if everyone in the world was an atheist. There are people who use atheism religiously, and who undermind people who believe in god(s) based only on that fact. That is stupid, it's the same as Muslims/Christians being intolerant of people with different beliefs.
