the correct name for the number system used in the West is Hindu-Arabic; the idea for "zero" was borrowed (stolen) from the hindus after muslims conquered most of India, the numbers were then arabized, which is how they made it to the West. The Maya invented the concept of "zero" independantly of the Old World, using the symbol of a shell as place holder, (BTW, it was a base 20 numerical system):

welcome to Christianity, now comes the hard part, the world trying to get you back in its clutches, people telling you are wrong, family & friends denying you,
join a fellowship or prayer group at the church where you go, read, pray, worship.

as to names; Mohammad means praise, so keep it or anglaize it to "Praise" or hebreize it to "Hallelujah" or "Baruch".
as a catholic, you can try "Peter Paul Luke Matthew" Shaheen, Peter Shaheen for short, or since Peter means 'rock', how about "Qubbat" (I think thats "rock"?) Shaheen?
