Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.

Exactly! Faith cannot be the End of Religion. So, when Paul convinced the Church to impose Faith as the End and Goal of Religion, it was effectively to Satanize the Church... or at least to seriously stunt its growth toward a Realized Spirituality.

To assert that Faith is the goal of Religion is simply to surrender to the logic of the skeptics that Religion is utter nonsense. It gives up any notion that Religion can be founded on objective and concrete results.

Christ prophesized that the Church would be taken down this misguided direction. In the Parable of the House built upon Sand He was describing the Church built upon Faith.

Yet, with the Catholic Church, in the knowledge of the verified Miracles of the Saints, even up into Modern Times, we have a Belief that is built upon the Rock of Intellectual Certainty.
