so is there an unseen force that program us to mix with other ethnicities?
just because the current rhetoric holds as an ideal, the human race as one,
how does that translate to actual reality? do we not still hang out with our own according to each persons comfort level? is big brother choosing my mate so he can implement the nefarious and evil "race of tan"?. who the hell is breeding us into conformity? if one cannot maintain an unique sense of identity as an individual, you would be as a mindless drone and probably deserve such a state of being
i cannot understand why anyone can have an issue with a statement such as "my race is the human race". in scientific terms, it is meaningless. humans
are a species which in turn is divided into races and then ethnicities. although i understand what the statement is trying to convey (and do not disagree with), it appears to be nothing but a slogan.
my beef here is that too many ethnic groups segregate themselves. (this diminshes the pool of potential one night stands in my case)
so bring forth the "oneness" slogans folks
