You should care because a company that will never turn a profit or break even will either go bankrupt or move to a third world country in search of cheap labor, which means the first world worker will then be unemployed.

You have that one nailed, Gault. And as I said earlier, there is more money to be made in crime as drug dealers than there is in honest minimum wage work. Add to this the fact that welfare directly competes with minimum wage jobs, and well you see the unemployment trend in action.
