I personally hate facebook. As for a sense of community, we seem to have a very strong one. The refugees here are rational and thoughtful. They will either like it here or they will go away. I suggested it because I remember it being very tolerant. Not overly moderated. So, there you have it.

I'm less shocked than disappointed. I knew in 2016 I would not be happy regardless of whether he or Hillary won, but I did not expect him to be this disorganized and inconsistent, nor did I expect him to surround himself with such poor advisors.

I'm sure they've long since determined that, but they are not in much of a position right now to do much about it. They need him to get any legislation through, and if they turn on him, he's already demonstrated he'll go make deals with the Dems instead. I still don;t think Trump will run again in 2020, but if he does, I will not be at all surprised if he faces a steep primary challenge.
They got their Koch brothers corp. tax cut passed... nothing left to hang on to Donnie for. I expect the Republican trumpettes to start dropping like flies now that there is nothing Donnie can offer them other than embarrassment.

Double edge sword. If it looks like he's going to lose, his ego will not allow that either. Very easy for him, at age 74, to "declare victory" having won the presidency and served a term, take a "victory lap" and walk off into the sunset.
