It was popular enough to have Chris Carter write a whole episode of The X-files on it.
 
Goats have been found completely drained of blood, with fist sized holes in them, and somehow still alive and kicking(confirmed by video footage and veterinarean evaluations)

And surrounding these goats were drunk mexicans saying it was the chupacabra.
Mexicans are the least credible of the races, but you can't argue with a bloodless goat, Something different is happening there.
