In Indigenous tradition midwives gave birthing women special concotions which would includes psychedelic substances which gratly eased childbirth. what this patriarchy is doing is demonizing that freedom by claiming their 'God' demands them to suffer as 'punishment' and to tie tem to 'his' author-ity!
