I have never heard of anyone being healed in Buddha's name. I see it in Christian churchs all the time.

Names never healed anyone. Positive thinking can go a long way, as well as the placebo effect. Jesus was a skinny teacher. Buddha was also skinny at times. It was the same basic method, meditation on spiritual issues in the wilderness, fasting, being apart from society. And they both realized the same thing, the essential unity of all things, which Jesus happened to call God.

Mexico is run by drug lords because those pious people in the US buy lots of drugs. If anything, Catholicism is in Mexico helping the poor people to survive. Those health, wealth, and prosperity folks in the US Protestant churches don't tend to go slumming in Mexico like the Preists who take a vow of poverty do. Some do, most don't.
