The reason there is even a debate is because the word (or name of) "God" is not once written in the entire book. It's to my knowledge (the extent of "old testament") in which this is true. That's why there's a debate at all.

Sorry, by "book" I thought you meant the Bible.The name "God" was not mentioned once in the Book of Esther. I couldn't find Yahweh, or any name of God either.
you don't use logic to determine which religion is better to believe in in terms of truthiness if you have no logic in the first place that any of the religions claims are valid
