Exactly. $5 says there are no gods. If I win the bet, I get $5. Hardly nothing. Though the argument against that is the inconvenient fact that it's impossible to be absolutely sure without dying. Almost all gods come in a "2 for 1" special, packaged with an afterlife of some sort. So when I die and there is no afterlife and no god, I may win the $5 but I cannot collect. Easy solution... If I win, my offspring get the $5 to put towards their college fund or retirement package.
