by these marvellous words which Quran begins with, I'll start my speech ...
First of all ... hi there ... I'm so glad to be here with you guys in one of my most favorite sites to me ...

Honestly, I'm really bored from a long and overstated preface so I'll go on straight on the theme .. OK

RESPECT RESPECT
is very important word I'd like to do. Respect of everything, God, religion, prophets, messengers, holy books, people, ourselves, everything, everything, and that's not a new trend but it's one of the very decisive order in Islam and in other God's religion .. OK ...

Now overall the basic purpose of this topic is exchange the information about Islam, and in particular to response to who slander the Quran and Islam and defame the picture of the last prophet to all nations "Mohammed" ...

Of course you know what I mean ... and that's enough cause I'm getting borded slowly ... Do you ever seen a man that getting bored from himself ? :)

Anyway ... I think this topic will contain alot of knowledge ... and I'll really enjoy with the forum's friends ... so don't prevent me from that chance ...

By the way ... don't forget that's I'm still little in English and it's obvious of course from my writings ... but it's not very bad anyway ...

Don't forget "RESPECT" and welcome you and me ...

I'm waiting ....

I don't think cults like Islam and Christianity have earned respect from the secular world. Both cults are bent on spreading their diseases they call religious doctrine to the far reaches of the planet at the expense of the worldviews and beliefs of others.

When missionaries and evangelicals of these two cults demonstrate respect for the worldviews of small cultures, then perhaps they'll get it in return. They don't even respect each other and, if moderates within their cults pretend to, they're being intellectually dishonest since the doctrines of both cults have clear instruction on how to deal with those that refuse to accept cult doctrines.

"Respect?" Earn it first. Islam is every bit the virus of the mind that Christianity is.

Wolf,

Hi and welcome to sciforums. Don't expect a pleasant ride here, your subject will likely meet with some tough issues for you.

And further to Skin's comments Islam does seem like an unpleasant and unacceptable assault on the world of reason.

Here is the first question for you. Mohammed it seems suffered from extreme epileptic fits and it is well known that during such seizures the victims often experience intense hallucinations. It would seem that his friends at the time and in their ignorance mistook these hallucinations as if they had a supernatural origin and hence a new religion was born. How do you feel about following a religion that has only an hallucination as its sole basis?

Wolf,

Islam promotes death and destruction. It's one of the most dangerous mind viruses on earth and many strains choke the very foundations of humanity. Mawlana Abul Ala Mawdudi (founder of Pakistan’s fundamentalist movement) says it best:

“Islam is a revolutionary faith that comes to destroy any government made by man. Islam doesn’t look for a nation to be in better condition than another nation. Islam doesn’t care about the land or who own the land.

The goal of Islam is to rule the entire world and submit all of mankind to the faith of Islam. Any nation or power in this world that tries to get in the way of that goal, Islam will fight and destroy.”

Every single day of the week some muslims blow up a few more innocent people. That being the case, you're never going to get that 'respect' you desire.

In the name of Allah , which only exists inside the brains of men, as a fantasy.
Praise be to all paedophiles , who has sex with 10 years old children , like Mohammed did .....
Blessed be all criminals, who kill, like Mohammed attacked and killed
peacefull men in caravans from Mekka , like a highwayman .................
Blessed be all powermad politicians, who like Mohammed , make special laws
to benefit for themself (everyone is equal - but some are more equal than others)
Blessed be all psychotics , who hear voices and think they belong to god, like Mohammed did ..
==============================================================

However, everyone please pity "wolf attack" , after all he is only a victim - brainwashed by muslims since he was a little child .........

I do not respect "Allah" or "Mohammed" - they have not earned my respect - however I do respect you, wolf attack , as a human beeing and a poor victim of a religious cult !!!

hi everybody,

That's so nice to talk you guys and that's a little bit questions less than I was expected ... OK

"SkinWalker" :
SkinWalker: " I don't think cults like Islam and Christianity have earned respect from the secular world "
Of course Islam or Christianity or other in the beginning had faced many disagreements and resistance from people because of alot of vested interest or self-interest like commerce or influence and power - or a deeply persuasion or money or wealth or other .. that made them do their utmost to defend what they had and what they earned although they were really sure that they were invalid .. but .. after a few time it's definited to them and the others that this religion and this prophet was always on right .. till now till that moment ..

and Quran contains alot of proves like :
"Those who love the life of this world more than the Hereafter, who hinder (men) from the Path of Allah and seek therein something crooked: they are astray by a long distance"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=14&nAya=3&t=eng

and :

"Rejected were the Messengers before thee: with patience and constancy they bore their rejection and their wrongs, until Our aid did reach them: there is none that can alter the Words (and Decrees) of Allah. Already hast thou received some account of those Messengers"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=6&nAya=34&t=eng

SkinWalker: " Both cults are bent on spreading their diseases they call religious doctrine to the far reaches of the planet at the expense of the worldviews and beliefs of others "
What disease you're talking about, we can't till that day count the benefits of the religions that God created, how many the right deeds it was signs ? how many science it was talking about ? .. religion is so important to nations to coordinate life and tell us the truth of our creation and about the good or bad deeds and about God Who create everything and alot of things .. I can't count it ..

read this :
"This is the book; in it is guidance, sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=2&nAya=2&t=eng

and :
"Verily this Qur-an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the glad tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward - And to those who believe not in the Hereafter, (it announceth) that We have prepared for them a Penalty Grievous (indeed)"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=17&nAya=9&t=eng

SkinWalker: " They don't even respect each other "
How was that ? Do you know that's a very decisive order from Allah in Islam, one of basis of faith, that believe in God's holy books and God's prophets and not tell them apart .. that's true .. you know, JUDAISM doesn't believe in Jesus or Mohammed, CHRISTIANITY doesn't believe in Mohammed, although "Mohammed" was mentioned in Torah and Gospel (but it's a differant issue, if you want I can talk about that)

see that proves in Quran :
"The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His Books, and His Messengers. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His Messengers." And they say: "We hear, and we obey, (we seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=2&nAya=285&t=eng

"Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrahim, Isma'il, Ishaq, Ya'qub, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Musa, 'Isa, and the Prophets, from their Lord: we make no distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we bow our will (in Islam)"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=3&nAya=84&t=eng

"O ye who believe! believe in Allah and His Messenger and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=4&nAya=136&t=eng

"Those who deny Allah and His Messengers, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His Messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": and (those who) wish to take a course midway"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=4&nAya=150&t=eng

that's between the true believers and the messengers ...
how about messengers and each others ?

see that proof that show Allah (all-wise) motivated his messenger Mohammed to be patient like other messengers :
"Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) Messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers) ..."
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=46&nAya=35&t=eng

"Then if they reject thee, so were rejected Messengers before thee, who came with Clear Signs, and the Scriptures, and the Book of Enlightenment"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=3&nAya=184&t=eng

How about the relation between the believers and the other religions ?
"And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury); but say, "We believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; our God and your God is One; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)"
source : http://quran.al-islam.com/Targama/DispTargam.asp?nType=1&nSeg=0&l=eng&nSora=29&nAya=46&t=eng

How about the relation between husband to her wife ?
How about the relation between wife to his husband ?
How about the relation towards kids ?
How about the relation towards youth ?
How about the relation towards women ?
How about the relation towards parents ?
How about the relation towards God's rights ?
How about ..? How about ..?

That's will take a millions years to compose a millions of books to just repeat what's written from 1500 years ago, but you with a very simple way can read it now, and you know we're in the 21th century can find alot of source by one click while you drink your tea, cause you know in past the one was farewell their family to take his scientific trip on camel along thousand miles just for one information ...

I think we should make another session talking lengthely about islam at all and how it began and how it spreaded ... God-Willing ... tomorrow

========================

Cris :
thanks and I know what you mean man, and promise will answer tomorrow cause it's too late right now and I should prepare to go to bed cause it's tuesday, you know, a really tough day ... Ok

========================

Crunchy Cat

now see ya

Wolf ,
I have a question about prohibition of portraying people !!!
Some muslims say that all images of people are prohibited - other muslims says
it is only images of Mohammed, that is prohibited ....
What does the Koran say sbout it - and what is your opinion about it ...

When the taliban blew up the images of Buddha in Afghanistan - they said it was according to the prohibition of images - and in older muslim ornamentations of buildings and Mosques, there is no images of people .....

I tried to look it up - it seems that the Koran originally prohibited images of all living creatures - animals and humans both - is that correct ??

hi everybody,

"Cris" :
Cris : " Mohammed it seems suffered from extreme epileptic fits and it is well known that during such seizures the victims often experience intense hallucinations "

that's old claim from an old christians had followed all good men not Mohammed in particular, you know, it's one of 3000 or 4000 calumnies and slanders that Mohammed had been accused of, and the generations had transfered it ...

Ok .. will repeate the response but with a very very scientifical proovies ..

First things first to define "epilepsy" :
("Group of diseases charaterized by paroxysmal changes in neurological function caused by abnormalities in the electrical activites of the brain")

and ("each episoide is called seizure ,seizure may be convulsion or non convulsion")

"Symptoms :-

The symptoms of epilepsy vary depending on how much of the brain is affected and where the affected area is located.

Primary generalized seizures (involve all areas of the brain):

Generalized tonic-clonic seizure (also called grand mal) — In this type of seizure, the person loses consciousness, falls to the ground and temporarily stops breathing. All body muscles then contract (tense up) at once for a short period. This is soon followed by a series of shorter rhythmic contractions. Some people also lose bowel or bladder control (become incontinent). The seizure episode may last for a few minutes and is followed by a period of sleepiness (lethargy) and confusion, and possibly muscle soreness and a headache.

Absence seizure (also called petit mal seizure) — In this type of seizure, loss of consciousness is so brief that the person usually doesn't change position. For a few seconds, the person may have a blank stare, blink rapidly, make chewing movements with the mouth, or briefly move an arm or leg rhythmically. This type of seizure usually begins in childhood or early adolescence.

Partial (focal) seizures (begin in a single area of the brain):

Simple partial seizure — In this type of seizure, the person remains awake and aware. Symptoms vary depending on the brain area involved and can include jerking movements in one part of the body; an experience of abnormal smells, sounds or changes in vision; nausea; or emotional symptoms, such as unexplained fear or rage.

Complex partial seizure — In this type of seizure, the person may seem to be aware, but is briefly unresponsive. There may be a blank stare, chewing or lip smacking, repetitive movements of the hand, or unusual behaviors. After the seizure, the person has no memory of the episode"

and if you want more about "epilepsy" then try this specialized and expert site : http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/main_epilepsy.html

and try to read it's Types of Seizures and it's Types of Epilepsy and "Aura"

From above we can conclude, nobody mentioned that 'Mohammed' during 23 years didn't appear any of these seizures on him .. prove the opposite ..

Cris : "It would seem that his friends at the time and in their ignorance mistook these hallucinations"

How was that ? his friends was so intelligent, there were from all ranks who believed him and his message: poor, rich, strong, weak, women, adults, graybeard or old, ... and I proved above that slander of epilepsy is not true, then his friends is not ignorant ..

And you claimed that they mistook these hallucinations, don't you know that this disease (epilepsy) was known in that era and even after Islam and everybody knew it ..

See when a dark-complexioned woman came to 'Mohammed' and said : "I'm suffering from a deep epilepsy and that epilepsy make my always naked without any awake from me, so please supplicate Allah to be a cure person and ....."
source : http://hadith.al-islam.com/bayan/display.asp?Lang=eng&ID=1493

He ('Mohammed') didn't asked for "epilepsy" or any of his disciples, cause you know they (his disciples) didn't slip anything the prophet did or said without asking him about it ...

As I said before you try to repeat and transfer a slander without seeing it
I suggest to read an effective parts of Islam and don't tell me that there's any benefits just harmful themes .. I don't believe that

with my due respect

Will keep on discussion for the other topics tomorrow God-willing
see ya

This is pointless so long as the "responses" to questions are simple quotes from the Qur'an. Might as well quote from the Torah, Upanishad, Shvetashvatara or the Bible. Proves nothing.

ok wolfie,
some questions for ya
1-how do you feel homosexuals should be treated?
2-is it ok to lie to,steal from and /or kill those who are not Muslims?
3-what does your Quran says about atheists?

I'm curious: how does that prove Mohammed wasn't merely epileptic? One might well have "known" about epilepsy but attributed Mohammed's 'visions' to deific interaction anyway. The description of Mohammed's attacks sounds very much like epilepsy or other mental/physiological illness.

I agree there's little way to prove anything here.

Narrated 'Aisha:
(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle "O Allah's Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ' off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).

Narrated Aisha:
Magic was worked on Allah's Apostle so that he used to think that he had sexual relations with his wives while he actually had not (Sufyan said: That is the hardest kind of magic as it has such an effect).

Well, I suppose, because the Qur'an is such an important book, that my questions should pose no problem for you:

1) On what day and in what year was the Qur'an completed?
2) On what day and in what year was the Qur'an canonized? By whom was it canonized?
3) Which are the 5 oldest Qur'an in the world today? How old is each? Are they all identical? Are they all identical to the one you have?

4) Was the original Qur'an written using didactical marks? Is your Qur'an written using didactical marks?

Thanks,
Michael
