another one sees the light

What groundless assertion do you think I am making?
Do you really think an atheist referring to a person who shifted from theism to atheism is not indicating by the phrase 'sees the light' that the person made a positive shift?

It's just a phrase. Norsefire was trying to stuff a straw man by calling the phrase a superlative. I was pointing out that in religious terms, 'light' has two meanings.

Either way, Norse was being tangential and diversionary.

lucifer is the latin word for venus, the morning star. thats all. the hebrew bible doesnt use the word lucifer. they didnt speak latin they spoke hebrew.

And how many Christians have read the bible in Hebrew?

Lucifer is one of the names given to The Devil, Satan, and Jews you know, the guys who speak Hebrew, have no concept of the Devil like Christians do, so what's your point?

The context of this thread was a Christian becoming an atheist. Get a grip.
