American-Afghan War!!!

Perhaps you should review the following information a little more closely, remember there are many facets of GVT Agencies all vying for their own compartmentalized power struggles to penetrate the common barries of controverted civil liberties, and this is but one small pixel of the larger picture.

If you look closer, you will take notice that the latest legislative bills that were passed into law took place 6 mos. ago, and indicate forcing innoculations upon the public, with punishment of Felony charges to those who refuse to take them against their will, in the Military it is common but these indications point towards martial law parameters so again you must not ask me, ask yourselves what is really going on because apparently too many sheepole haven't a clue!

You can't actually be forced to have an innoculation, i.e. they can't put you in jail for not getting one.

Bioterrorism has been a fear for ten plus years now. Its no suprise that they set the proper protection methods into motion last year.

I don't believe in conspiracies.

How can you say that without reviewing the evidence to this backed up by the documentation that supports this claim at the link provided above?

I suggest you take another look, as it seems apparent you missed something, or did'nt even review the information before passing judgement, (Please) don't be blind like justice!

A little late, sorry.

... how would americans react to afgani planes dropping food with huge afgan flags all over it?

If we were starving to death and our children in danger of dying from malnutrition they would eat it and denounce Afghanistan. The food still serves it's purpose.

Stop giving terrorists reasons to exist.

Impossible. That would require that all people believe in the same things. As long as there are differences of opinion there will be those that disagree and disagree radically.

As for the conspiracy theory-

It makes no sense at all. One problem is the supposed conspirators are no where to be found. Power is not silent. If a group is to become powerful or keep power they will be known. There is no other way around it. The kind of operation you are talking about requires time, money and followers. Where do they recruit new people to carry out this invasion of freedom? How long are they willing to wait to gain their power? Why are their followers following them? What do they hope to achieve? Don't give me power either. There is always another reason. Power is simply the tool to achieve the goal.

I agree with you as well,so that's two!
I get fed up with these conspiracy theory's

John Walker

I think he should be prosecuted as a traitor if he go's back to the USA.
What do you all think??

Whatever happens to Walker in court will set a precident for the trial of a terrorist with US citizenship. The difference between Walker and a terrorist with citizenship is minute.

Here's the Consitution's stance on tratiors:

Article III, Section 3

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

The law as our founding fathers saw it 200 plus years ago, still holds up pretty well.

Thoughts on Treason

The law as our founding fathers saw it 200 plus years ago, still holds up pretty well.
Does it? Ronald Reagan gave aid and comfort to our enemies, twice. Even after saying he would never "negotiate with terrorists". Congressional GOP said this wasn't a big deal, and I'll leave the the juxtaposition to Zippergate for another day. George Bush? He was either complicit or unaware of what his office was up to; either way, we rewarded him with the presidency.

We have a long history of giving aid and comfort to our "enemies". It's just how much of an enemy we decide they are while we're sitting at the table bargaining with the devil.

As to our American Talibanite, I'm unsure if the courts will agree that the Taliban was really an "enemy" in this case. They are indirectly responsible for the 9/11 tragedy and it is our choice as the United States to include them as our enemy. I might remind that there is no formal resolution of war against Afghanistan or the Taliban that I've heard of. It raises an interesting point about whether joining the Taliban before we started bombing Afghanistan constitutes a treasonous act. In the court of public opinion, sure, but legally?

I must pre-empt the possible objection that we need no declaration of war against the Taliban. Stephen Ambrose, partisan hawk historian, notes of Pearl Harbor that, "On December 8 the Anglo-Americans declared war on Japan ...." (1) We could, also, skip the historical inferences and go straight to the declaration of war itself (2). In the wake of September 11, 2001, there is no declaration of war against the Taliban, so it's hard to declare our American Talibanite to be an active enemy during a time of war.

Since I'm on this tack, it's worth noting that even after Germany declared war against the United States, Roosevelt saw fit to get his own declaration. (3)

As a question of principle, how upset are people really that a guy from the US took off and followed a fanatic religious compulsion? After all, how many Americans insist "Love it or Leave it"? He left. Sure I think it was a dumb idea, but at least he took it where it was welcome; on that note, it would seem quite silly to haul him back here and prosecute him for a treason that has been rendered unsure by the needs of history.

I agree for the most part, yes, your enemie's enemy is your best friend. Sometimes you have to work with the lesser of two evils, i.e. a WWII example.

Britian and Russia were the only two major allied powers prior to 1941/42. Communism, the ideals, and threat of red infiltration had haunted the US since the Bolshivek revolution of 1917. The Palmer raids, cracking down on labor unions, and other actions were taken by the United States from WWI until really the eighties. What I'm getting at is that we decided helping the Soviet Union against Hitler, even though Stalin was just as bad. It was a marrage of convience, they need us and we need them.

We didn't offically recoginize the Soviet government, USSR, until 1924.

The problem isn't with aiding a certain group, the problem is making sure that group is responsible and not walking away from them after you use them. That's what we did with Afghanistan in 1989, now in part, its bit us in the ass.

I have read an article that stated we had submarines following certain commercial ships that have left packistan and headed towards Somalia because it is suspected that Bin Laden may try to get to Somalia by that route.
