Why not question their opinions? I doubt if any one of them has examined the site or any debris.

And you assume FAR too much - I don't question the "whole 9/11 event."

The only thing I'm "going on" about is people making a big deal out of Sheen and his comments. Just because he's a well-known actor, his opinion of the events aren't any more valuble than yours or mine. If Elvis were alive today and expressed his opinon it would draw the same attention. And would mean just as little.

None. I'm just amused by people who conjure up all these wild ideas. They are just taking advantage of the fact that not every single little thing is tied up in a neat package. And that's always the case in every major event. Just like it was with the JFK assassination, Robert Kennedy's, Martin Luther King Jr, etc. And all the loose ends with Oswald, Jack Ruby, Sirhan-Sirhan. Who actually killed Robert Blake's wife? Did OJ Simpson kill his wife, and if so, why?

Real life isn't like a movie script or some fictional book that can provide answers for every question. When dealing with actual events there will always be gaps and conflicting information. You can never get the WHOLE story in the real world and the people who drive these theories don't seem to understand that. Or could it be that they just enjoy a big mystery? I believe it's more that than anything else. Many of them have rather plain, boring lives and this kind of stuff provides them with a little excitement.
 
oh wuldn't that attiude be marrvelous if we were trying to find who really did a murder? you know we could smirk to each couldn't we and say hoooow mysterious life can be, etc....

we are not on about the othe events in thris thread--ie JFK and Martin Luther Kng's assassination etc. this is about how te twin towers came down, and is it likely the government might have had a hand or more in this atrocity

As a detective would do who collates clues, and inferences, so MUS we. othewise-if true--they can get away with more and more etc. likeany dictstor will do

if eveyone just goes 'oh yer know bud, lifes mysterious, not a film script' then tat is total apathy.

anyway if you are so notinterested, how come its seems to be only you attracted YO this question?

can you dispute what the physics professor claims in that link i gave?

Duendy, you can be such a non-thinker at times. I was simply showing examples of the many other "cases" where there were still gaps in the knowledge - even after all this time.

Fine, you go right ahead and play armchair detective - I don't object to you and others doing that. The bad thing is that you don't have access to any tangible pieces of evidence. All you've got are some photos, movies and a bunch of people expressing their opinions. And most of them don't know any more about the real facts than you, me or Charlie Sheen - or the yokel at your local pub.

No, I didn't bother to read what your esteemed professor had to say. I never once have EVER said that all professors are actually correct.

What attracted me to this question? Simple. I get sort of a kick out of watching you twisting and turning over something you can't possibly ever get to the bottom of. I'm not buying ANY of "the government was behind it" business. I just enjoy seeing you grasping at straws attempting to establish links between nothing and nothing. A lot like sitting on my patio on a nice day with a tall drink in my hand and watching a dog trying to catch it's tail.

you can't just say the government did it without offering a reason.

I think that the people who are doing that are convinced it was done to give an excuse for attacking Afghanistan and later Iraq. Sort of like the Dustin Hoffman film "Wagging the Dog." In the movie, they were creating a diversion but it's it's the same general idea.

But it's still just a fantasy - some people love blaming the government for EVERYTHING. Like the weather-control freaks - they try to claim the government MAKES the storms/hurricanes, etc.

The world will always have it's fair share of idiots.

you don't need to knock down buidings and kill 3000 people to invade a country

HAARP is a reality, there is nothing mysterious about it
it can, among other things, controll the weather

it definitly has the potential of controlling the weather
the air force bragged that it would "own the weather" by 2025

Some of you guys are like....ohhh, what an idiot to think it was staged by the US government. Then some of you are all like ...ohhhhh, the facts speak for themselves....it was a US coverup!!! DAMNIT! This is supposed to be an intelligent forum!

I bet everyone here can admit to the one true fact....and that is that many things were and still are - unexplainable. Correct? OK - let's just go from there....geez*.

I would say it is possible that US would do such a thing (even though my heart wishes it not to be so). After reading about Operation Northwoods, anything could happen. I would also say that there needs to be another investigation....a truly independent panel should be set up. And, I would also like to add that the probability of this being a true terrorist attack is greater than it not being one. Just my two cents. :)
