Well, actually counsellorcoffee was joking, but thanks for those links anyway. Ever been on shoutwire? Almost every day they have a story running about how Bush "Admits demolitions". They have so little skeptiscism it's sad.

Forget numerology.

What most clearly spooks me about this is a picture from the tarot, mainly that of "The tower". In it, a tower is cut in half by a lightning (sometimes sent by god), and two people jump down from the window, from which flames strike out.

Although the interpretion varies, I think it mostly means that nothing offers protection from the divine truth. People think themselves as greatest and built towers in testament and fortresses to protect themselves against anything proving them false. But no matter what, you always get what you deserve.

I think this is mostly symbolic, about how self-deception always fails, no matter how strongly you've built your defenses; and the tower is simply a symbol for hubris. But either the tarot is no shit, or someone else can read symbols also.
