And it's ironic because you're allowed to say basically whatever you want to whomever you want, but when I say essentially the same thing to Bells, you give me a warning. It's just funny, is all. Power corrupts.

Ah... yeah, his total aversion to anything resembling physics or rational thought is just... irritating beyond all reason... I mean, his entire assertion is that dropping a substantially heavier load on a floor than the floor was designed for (and by substantially I mean several times more) shouldn't have caused a failure... it's like watching an 80,000 pound semi-truck try to cross a bridge designed to handle pedestrian and bicycle traffic, then being surprised when the bridge fails... it's just mind blowing to me.

I generally have a pretty sharp tongue when it comes to dealing with... irrational or willfully/willingly ignorant people. I have no time for "stupidity" and I find it deplorable that someone would willingly EMBRACE ignorance rather than fact...

Here's my take on forum posters... If I find you to be intelligent, I'll mostly read your posts.

If I find you to be an idiot, I just ignore ya. Stress kills dude. Not worth it.

Hey, I'm no MD... But, I do hold a degree or three... My advice to you, is to start drinking heavily. It doesn't solve anything, but you'll be too fucked up to care.

Hehe, drinking is something I reserve heavily... alcoholism runs deep in my family (my fathers side, being British... in my family line, being smashed out of your head a majority of the waking day is, apparently, socially acceptable behavior...) and i'm bound and determined to break that pattern. I will not put my kids through the bullshit my "father" put me through... and I use the term father loosely (more like sperm donor really...)

As for ignoring people... yeah, I've tried to avoid doing that since, as a moderator, I'm supposed to read through... but some stuff right now is just too... I don't even have words for it... for me to care to read the tripe anymore. So, to the ignore list it goes :) If a complaint crops up, or I see a potential issue, I can also click to read the post in question

I was actually kidding about the drinking... I just like to use that line.

My mother was a nasty drunk... I'm glad to say I no longer drink. I did for years though.

The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree, I guess...
But, as I said before, stress kills... Go easy brother.

*nods* It's something I've learned to deal with... but once in a while it does still get the better of me...

It'll be less of an issue in a few weeks. We're moving into our own townhouse (instead of having a roomate who is still behind on rent) and the new complex we are moving to has a proper gym with various machines, free weights, aerobics areas, and a sauna, and an outdoor pool :D

I'm hoping so! The other nice thing is the main room of the townhouse is large enough that we could section part of it off and my wife can have an area for her massage therapy there... will be nice for her to be able to start practicing that again!

The Docs. Tell me I should look into getting massages, to relieve the stress from my treatments.

I just have an aversion to being touched lately. Oh well, life isn't perfect... Or even fair.

Truth be told, a massage would probably help a lot. Even if you have an aversion to being touched, i recommend trying it. Hell, if you happen to live anywhere near PA I reckon my wife would be willing to give you one for free so you can see if you'd care to ever get em in the future.
