24 Dead, Frozen Babies Found in Doc's Office

Sure, with cannibalism. He was obviously freezing the fetuses for dessert. Have you ever tasted an expired fetus? Yak.....

fetus =/= baby

What idiot criminals hides 30 year old evidence in the freezer? Just in case so he can be charged?

*************
M*W: It depends on what PA law says. PA may or may not have a law that specifies the latest date a fetus can be aborted. TX law allows abortion to the 26th week. Different states have different laws on abortion.

I'm guessing that freezer contained fetuses that went over the maximum term, and the doctor may have been "storing" them. It sounds like he hasn't used the fetal remains for anything. Hey, it happens. It's happened to me. There are ways to diagnose how far along the mother is pregnant, and even with several diagnostic tests indicating fetal age and growth, it can be medically misjudged.

I'm guessing again, but I have an inkling that these fetuses may have been born alive. Autopsy would show if that is the case. I suspect that the patients (mothers) never may have known.

Again, it depends on PA laws on abortion, fetal death, etc..

Should he be charged with anything?
At this time Dr. Gosnell has not been charged with a crime. Storing frozen fetuses, however grisly it may be, is not illegal if they were obtained during routine and legal abortions.

I guess since it is my belief that life begins at conception and these were babies, we'll just have to disagree.

I guess since it is my belief that life begins at conception..
Whether or not life begins at conception has got nothing to do with the question of whether they were babies or fetuses.

..and these were babies,..
Not they were not. They were fetuses.

we'll just have to disagree.
So you want the guy punished based solely on your belief? :bugeye:
I think he should be charged.

This guy was a barbaric freak.
Maybe so, but being a freak is not usually a legally actionable offense.

I would be surprised if they don't find some reason to revoke his medical license though, if that's any consolation to you Sandy...
