I'll update the tomorrow's result all at once (after Cameroon - Denmark match).

i´d say it wasn´t offside ... if there was something to whistle, then it would have been the fact, that all slovenian players performed wrestling in that situation. except the not given goal, the referee did quite a good job. best referee so far has been the one in the game between england and algeria!

I want to apologise to all soccer fans for England's display against Algeria. Complete shite.

At least it will give the Spanish, French and German fans a good laugh.

Well done to Algeria, they should have won.

I put it down to nerves, they looked scared to even touch the football at times. These are players that have no confidence at all.

Time to dust off my Brazil shirt.

So yeah... it's looking like (so far *fingers crossed*) the U.S. and Slovenia will be advancing out of C-Group. Algeria has absolutely 0% chance at this point, and England's chances are looking pretty slim.

For tomorrow's games:

Japan vs Netherlands - Japan Wins - 1-0
Ghana vs Australia - Ghana Wins - 3-1
Denmark vs Cameroon - Denmark - 2-0

Rubbish!, this group is wide open still and although not looking good, Algeria's chances are well above zero.

Now. How did Germany get beaten? Simple, they fell for some old tricks, they underestimated the opposition and went in feeling smug, therefore complacent. Serbia played out of their skins and got stuck in physically and knocked the fancy pants team off their fancy pants game. Yes Klose was stiff to get sent off but Germany had already knocked themselves off their game by that point.
Podolski got angry at being behind and missing shots then started to lash wildly at the ball. The coach should have noticed this and brought him off.
Great effort by Serbia.

Australia vs. Ghana tonight (our time). I think Serbia did us a favour by beating Germany.
Australia's only chance to progress is basically to win their next two games, nothing like being cornered to make you fight and fight is what we have traditionally done best.
The action is starting to heat up, no more second chances.

Australia's campaign is on the line.
Kewell in, Bresciano too, that's more like it. We'll see a different side tonight.
