well if the truth is effective in getting you what you want then from your opinion its not going to be bad is it. but maybe it will be bad to others.

Yes. If Americans knew the truth, no doubt there would be rebellion and they would be set free (if the rebellion wins, that is)
 
Knowing the real truth is always a good thing, the bad thing is when you borrow other people´s truths.

And interestingly, we can see how a little knowledge around here is cause for argument, disagreement, even heated arguments and hatred.

Actually being uneducated will only lead you into more problems like being used and not knowing how they are using you.
