Doesn't anyone want to comment why America has been in more major confrontations and war with Democratic presidents over Republican presidents.
I can't comment on the US like that because i don't know but Australia has ALWAYS had a Labor PM durin war time untill now but that dosen't mean they were the PM BEFORE the war and leading up to it just that DURIN the war they were. I don't know why people always want Left wing people in power in war but they seem to
sighs some of us Americans don't want war but I agree many here have no concept of the world and see things from watching CNN. Truthfully history proves no country stays the head of the class forever and the path we are on will cause our fall..as we are arrogant and assume we are the worlds police.. If we get in trouble not many allies will come help us right now..Now I admit we are not in trouble and I can't see us getting attacked locally..but with each step of war we take..it changes the odds..China is not on our side and is VERY upset with our new bases in their backyard and China is the "current sleeping giant" waiting to be awaken.,,They have an army of Billions and now can put modern weapons in their hands..(even nukes) Russia on paper is on our side but if you read the Moscow news regular you will find public support of us in Russia does not exist. UK our closest ally as far as providing support is against us..Tony is in a mess in his own country now..Maybe our nukes can go down a chimney but China's nukes can hit the right city and I fail to see what difference it makes...right now the USA is being hypocritical and losing world support..now I will get told to leave and I really don't want to hear about how we keep bailing out the world...most of our bailouts have caused us real problems...most recent example..the Taliban..before that iraq..we armed them both.. our foreign polices are mostly based on what is best for us and not what is best for the world..

Justagirl- It's good to see someone else here who doesn't agree with this war. And, yep, we do need you in the "philosophy of terrorism" thread, as so far it seems to be only me and Asguard who are not in favour of this war.
Your post is totally on the ball, if America isn't careful, it'll be a case of "the U.S vs. the World". Even in Australia, the war is getting bad press, and we're supposed to be one of your greatest allies.
And yes you're completely right about the whole "the u.s always bails people out" thing. People always say that, but unfortunately when you compare the bailing out america has done with all the fascist regimes they've helped install around the world, it doesn't look so good anymore.

To name a few places- Almost every naton in the Gulf.
Several countrys in ASIA and South America.
Ive been around the globe and this is the best dam country that there is.
