Why U.S.A is the best country in the world.

Still an artificial, unsupportable restriction. He could have moved to Canada, or to South America, or to Australia, or any number of other places.
He could have, I suppose, however there are any number of rational reasons why he might not. For example, I'm not aware of Einstein ever having visited Australia or South America, he had however visited the US previously. If you were going to emigrate to a country, where would you go? A country you've never visited, or somewhere where you've been before that's a least culturally familiar? Or consider some of what he had to say, about American culture, which you yourself have alluded to - the only thing, however, that that actually proves is that Einstein prefered aspects of American culture to European culture, it doesn't prove that it's superior.

He also could have moved back to Europe once the Reich was defeated.
He could have, I suppose, but by this time he was already a US citizen, and had been in the US for over a decade. One might ask why he would bother, especially at the age of 64.

He also probably could have hooked up a post somewhere in neutral Switzerland.
He could have, I suppose, but he also may not have regarded Switzerland as safe. The Swiss maintained their neutrality with their military. The Swiss expected the Germans to invade them. The Germans had plans to invade Switzerland (Operation Tannenaum), The Swiss Nazi Party tried (but failed miserably) to effect an Anschluss with Germany (but failed), there were high ranking Swiss army officers with pro-nazi sympathies, and Germany invaded Swiss airspace on a number of occasions.

How is American Football 'football'? They don't even use their feet!
Rugby is just Rugby...not rugby football. Wanna guess why?
Soccer is what Yanks call football. The rest of the world calls it....Football. Wanna guess why?

They make up a sport that nobody else wants to play because it's so boring, then call their own national championship "the world series".

Yes, the first wireless connection between the US and Europe was setup by Kaiser Wilhelm II, Maxwell was Scottish, Hertz was German, Marconi was Italian, von Steinheil was German, Preece was british, as was Lindsay. Faraday experimented with wireless telegraphy, Calzecchi-Onesti (italian) developed the coherer, which Tesla later improved upon. Slaby was German, as was von Arco.

Yeah, in all my advanced science and math textbooks I see a surprisingly small frequency of American-born scientists... Seems almost all the big names are either Europeans or Europeans who immigrated to America for various reasons (massive influx of talent during the Holocaust, for example- look up the guys credited with inventing Monte Carlo methods which led to nuclear power and the H-bomb, they came in from Hungary).

We have perfected the mass-production of stupid.

Them's fightin' words! You got the cojones to step up into the squared circle and say that to Hulk Hogan's face?! No, didn't think so- come back when you've got the 'roid rage to match your smartiness!

Baseball is a sport? I never knew that ;) jks

In all fairness, it's better than curling. You try hitting 150mph dingers and running around the bases without choking on tobacco, all while mouthing off the fans at the same time.

Anyways, running is not a sport, its track competition.

Well you can Americanize it by allowing them to trip each other up, then people will come to watch the injuries.

I got one, USA is SECOND best because: Canada is up north. You guys can share some spotlight in Canadian glory.

O Canada!

Shhhhh, we want to keep our riches a secret so the rest of the world doesn't come jack our stuff when they've filled themselves up with slums and run out of clean water.

Only a small minority of native English speakers call soccer "football." They're known as "the British."

All of Europe calls football, well, football. As does all of Asia, most of Africa and South America. Only in North America football is called soccer. (I'm not sure about Australia/NZ.)

And by the way, USA's national team (men's) never really counted in this sport. Though they're currently ranked 24th in the FIFA's world rankings I'm pretty sure that's because the largest share of their games are against teams from North and Central America, a whole region which (with the notable exception of Mexico) is just a noname when it comes to football.

I think USA's national football team is on par with European teams such as those of Andorra, Feroe Islands and Luxembourg. But pick any European country with a population larger than one million and I think you're likely to see US loosing eight times out of ten games, drawing and having an occasional win in the other two.

Sorry, guys, but football just isn't something Americans are good at.

Baseball is my favorite team sport. I really like to shoot pool though and eight ball is where its at.:D

Where is that from?

1: We're number 1 in most sports; baseball, basketball, football, soccer, running*other Olympic types of sport*.

Few countries give a damn about baseball or basketball. American "football" is practically only played in the US. The US is nowhere near "number 1" in soccer. It does do ok in the Olympics, but it puts heaps of money into that.

2: We have the best, most influential economy. America has a crisis, the rest of the world has a crisis.

So US financial crises are the "best"? Is that what you're saying?

3: We have the most rights/freedom.

The "most"?

You seem blissfully unaware that countries like Denmark, Norway, New Zealand, Australia, Great Britain and others even exist. The US is the country that gave us Guantanamo Bay, remember.

4: Our government is proven to be the most caring for its people.

How many homeless people are there in the US? You have 1-2% of your entire population in prison at any given time. Your health care system is a disaster, and that's something that many other countries sorted long ago. Many European countries put the US in the shade in terms of social welfare.

5: We have the best music. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, SlipKnot, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Lil Wayne*And all the other best rap/r&m artists*, Michael Jackson, etc.

As has already been pointed out, the Beatles were British. So are Queen and the Stones.

6: Most powerful/successful army in history.

Successful when/where?

7: Most diversity.

Diversity of what?

8: Best movies in the world.

Rated by whom?

9: Best scientists/ most modern inventions and breakthroughs.

Science is a worldwide enterprise. How are you ranking "the best" in terms of scientists, exactly?

I'm also pretty sure The Beatles were from Seattle, so...yeeeh, hate to show you up but you might want to check your facts, lol.

You're the boy with the 170 IQ. Or so you claim. So why is it that you can't
manage to use Google yet?

You're making yourself look like a fool.

No question. Fuck those other planets! Do any of them have:

Hot chicks

Australia - check.

Australia - check.

Or even [Hershey bars]

You guys had never heard of Tim Tams, or real chocolate biscuits until they were imported from Australia.

I still don't think you know what real chocolate is.

see? even albert knew we are better than all the rest
for instance....

"the USA has always encountered violent opposition from mediocre countries" (Einstein).

poor jealous sods

Rugby is just Rugby...not rugby football. Wanna guess why?

As ex House Captain of the Rugby Team when I was at 6th Form (High School to our US cousins), please feel free to tell me why the game I was playing was just 'Rugby' and not 'Rugby Football' when the rules were developed in Rugby, (a place) from the game of Football, and was then known as 'Rugby Football'.

Non UK people who are not aware Rugby is a place, might not make the association, so do not need the matter clarifying, and in context, it's easy to understand one is referring to the game, when one says 'he's a Rugby player', but that does not detract from the fact that the full, original name for the game, is 'Rugby Football',

You need to grow a little thicker skin.

Oh, I think his skin is thick enough.

He is an example of the proud new generation who per default feel good about themselves, having been fed from birth on that they are "good and worthy people" without having to move a finger to earn that title.

Either hopelessly indoctrinated or trolling.

I don't think he is trolling.

Alas, old age and disease shall teach him a lesson!

Its a myth that wisdom accompanies old age [not sure about disease] - most times, old age shows up all by itself :p
