One man's opinion, and without any factual evidence to prove any of his theories. He's just making excuses for the failures of the Africans, that's all. And, of course, the Africans need one helluva lot of excuses for the mess they've gotten themselves into over the last few millions years!!
Whitey pulled himself out of the mud huts and into multi-story concrete and steel towers. Why didn't the Africans?
Whitey pipes clean, fresh water right into their homes ...and sewers are connected in underground pipes right from their homes. Fascinating, ain't it? And yet, in millions of years of chances, the Africans still ain't got running water and underground sewers. Why?
And in all of that ....all you can do is make excuses for them. And worse, blame whitey instead of blaming the Africans. What is it ...never take responsibility for your own actions or lack of actions?

There is no collective "white man", I don't know where people get the idea that the "white man" did all this stuff, as if all of the countries of Europe can be collectively defined as the "white man", that's just ridiculous.
However, the success of Europe, came as a result of the violent history of Europe. Europeans going all the way back to Rome, have a culture of war and conquest, it's in the history books for everyone to read. This culture produced better and better warriors, as evolution took course, along with better and better weapons, as European fought European, often over the interpretation of books, and liqour, and women. Basically, Europe was at war with Europe for centuries, until Europe discovered America.
Basically, Europeans did not get along with each other, invented guns and organized forms of violence, and these inventions and this violent culture stayed. Later on, when Europeans met other cultures that did not have guns, and had no concept of organized violence on that level, the result is obvious.
Might makes right. Force trumps non-violence, as we see over and over again, the groups of people who have the least might, always get run over. History has been playing out in this way for a long while, might does make right, according to history, and Europeans were the first to discover might, and have complete mastery over weapons.
Also we have to admit, some of the war strategies used were brilliant. Biological warfare was invented to kill Native Americans who had no concept of what that was due to the fact that Native Americans did not go through the black plague or any kinda plague. And Africans had no concept of organized violence because there is no history of "warfare" in Africa on the sort of scales that Europe went through. There were wars that went on for over 100 years in Europe, how exactly would an African country or tribe who only is used to having wars for months, or a few years, deal with European tribes that are adapted to wars that lasted for 100 years?
Also the kinds of wars were different too. Africans and Native Americans, did not even invent the sorts of deadly weapons to win a war. There was no gun in Africa, only spheres, and shields, and there was no gun with Native Americans, and the Chinese who invented gun powder has no gun, they used it for fireworks.
So it's ultimately culture. To take gunpowder and as your first thought, figure out how to make it into a killing object, thats cultural influence, thats not something people are born with. People are not born with knowledge on how to make deadly weapons, as most people aren't spending their every waking moment trying to figure out how to kill the "enemy".
Also, let's admit, money, resources, all of these things are cultural artifacts too.
Africa had some type of socialism in it's tribes, and Native Americans had barter. China had money but did not think to leave it's wall. Ultimately Europeans because of location, had the least natural resources, and so it's rational that Europeans would simply steal whatever they need. It's in human nature to steal when desperate for resources.
So in general, all of this stuff is cultural. Because it's cultural, it can be changed, especially now when theres no reason for us to be overly violent towards ourselves. We KNOW better at this point, or at least the vast majority do, thats why the vast majority gets upset when there's violent wars.
In the future the resources will be intellectual based, intellectual property, information will become the most valueable resource, and violence does not help produce information, and it does not make sense to have wars over intellectual property, although I would not put it past humans to ever war over anything.
