Why do they work as pornstars?

I think there may have been a higher need like social media. That have helped advance internet. As well as governments trying to locate information easier. Rather than the porn industry.

Actually saint hasn't been very active in his topic, and I'm not seeing any hypocrisy, but perhaps we have very different point of views. saint does come up with some interesting topics and that counts for something after you've been around for a couple of years and start seeing the same old topics being repeated by each new crop of forum posters. Admittedly not all topics can be great for everybody, but on this forum there's usually a little something for everybody.

Personally porn doesn't hold a great deal of interest for me. But I do find it interesting watching how others respond to it. Also, it has helped advance the Internet a lot faster than it otherwise would have.

I am not familiar with saint. I have only seen, that I can remember off the top of my head, saint's posts in this one thread. Early on s/he said people would go to hell for doing porn. Then turned around and gave a question indicating that s/he has some experience in at least watching porn. I have known many people who will degrade and insult those who make porn yet they hoard a large collection of porn videos. It's the same mentality of a drug dealer that does not use. They will look down on the drug users while at the same time pushing the drugs and creating new addicts. The mentality sickens me.

At the same time if I see saint post something that is profound or at least logical and rational, without being insulting. Hell even if its not entirely sane but is polite, I would not have anything to say against saint. But I will bust my best friend's chops if they say something ridiculous. I think in the past you have approved of many of my posts. You disagreed this time at least to an extent and you called me on it. I respect that.

I'm guessing we do have different points of view. In regards to starting good threads, that's great. I can understand why you appreciate that. From a mother's perspective I see it like this. My daughter is an honor roll student, stays out of trouble, and tells me everything. But sometimes she will do something profoundly stupid. I don't let it slide just because she is usually good. I read her the riot act. Because as smart as she is, there is no excuse for profoundly stupid behavior. Because she consistently shows me that she is bright and intelligent, she has presented the evidence that I can and should expect more from her.

There are members on this forum, I won't name names, who consistently show their lack of intellect and capability of rational logical thought. I don't put much effort into correcting them because I feel they are doing the best they can with what they got. Until I know that this is the case with an individual, I assume they are at least of average intelligence. When they show me otherwise I just put them on ignore.

As smart as a few flatterers on here seem to think I am, I am as capable as the next primate of flinging poo when I get worked into a tizzy. I am certainly not immune to making the occasional idiotic remark, and I would think less of you if you didn't call me on it when I do.

It's just that I'm not used to you expressing yourself so strongly. Clearly saint pushed one of your buttons. I can't say I closely follow anyone so I do miss topics. Plus this is not the only forum I post in, although I consider this my primary forum. Given my current living location and condition, I would probably go crazy if I didn't have forums for a distraction and a way to alleviate boredom. I don't know how smart you are, but you do have a high degree of common sense and are able to clearly articulate what you are saying and I do find that refreshing.

The one problem with this is gender roles. Therefore, eliminate the existence of Society and the like of porn and you lower down or even eliminate the pornstar business(easier said than done of course).

There is a lot to be said for posting from an anonymous ID. I can say that because I learned that the hard way in another forum after about 500 posts. As far as porn goes, it's usually most popular with the young men as they are expected to be knowledgeable in love making, and they rarely get enough education on the subject while growing up in the home and in school. Also, the roll girls are expected to play is the innocent virgin, but they are just as curious about it as boys are, so I'm sure some porn would be of interest to them, while at the same time they are expected to denounce it in mixed company. Well, I notice that a lot of boys are expected to like porn. For example, I knew a few people that asked me if I ever watched porn(never knew why they asked, but anyways) and when I said I don't watch it, they just said that real men are supposed to watch porn and until they do they aren't men, which is what has formed this society pretty much.

I am not getting hostile, just annoyed when you make such a broad statement such as all parents or Society rather, teach kids what you stated. That’s an incorrect statement, its how you feel. Saying you don’t care how people perceive your post tells me you don’t really care about the words you’re typing. Because you don’t really give a shit if they have an impact or not or are factual or not. If that’s the cause then why bother posting?

Let's say if I raise my kid, weather or not its a boy or girl don't matter. I hope I instill some good values, an a few "passions",
I am not looking to raise a boy to be emotion less. An hide pain. An on the other hand I am not looking to raise a daughter to act weak an "helpless".
I want an hope that when my "kid" grows up in general, that my "kid" is able to defend themselves if need be like to hunt an fish. Do good in school, an have some common sense. I will say that I hope any kids I have don't participate in porn. But just like last year at a family reunion some kids found hustler an playboys. They likely looked at them before bringing them back to the "shelter". So porn is everywhere. I know I can't be everywhere. But in my role as a dad is I hope that my "kid" gets a sense, a strong sense of what's right an wrong. An that they see porn is mostly fake an a little wrong. Its not something to sit around with friends. Its not something that needs to be owned, or watched. It don't really help in sexual matters. It is not how you make love. An the action on T.V. Is just like WCW or WWE. Performed by paid actors.
I don't wish to elaborate my change in views about why I feel its slightly wrong. But I'm not 13-? 16.
