Not really, one can hate Nazism and Nazis without hating all Germans. I enjoy American TV shows and Hollywood too, but that doesn't change the fact that it is US policy [as a representative democracy] to use a volunteer army to invade and occupy sovereign states or support dictators. Or destroy Third World economies. Or overthrow elected governments. Or not count their victims and call them sticks and stones i.e. collateral damages.

If the Germans had called their Jewish victims as collateral damages of an Aryan state it would have been the same. What Americans do is worse, they call the people who defend themselves against drones, white phosphorus and cluster bombs as insurgents, militants and terrorists.

I take it those are images of Palestinians. Surely you realize that those Palestinians would be doing the same thing to Israelis right now, given the same international backing and the means to do so..?

Whoever has the resources to act worse will act worse. There is no fundamental difference between the people you are defending and everybody else in the world -- just letting you know. Realize that, before parading around images of delimbed Palestinian children as though they were more tragic than any other delimbed children in the world.

yeah but getting involved in a discussion with so much emotional turmoil is part of the problem. Screaming turns people into hypocrites. I have always seen emotional detachment as the path of least resistance.

If you wish to rally the crowds, or at least become an activist than showing pictures of dead babies is the way to go. However, be prepared to meet resistance.

It's best to lead by example I believe.

But that's for me. As for anyone else, go at it, it's more entertaining I suppose.
