I'd say monsanto. Walmart isn't good for anyone but they're just whores.
What's wrong with Wal-Mart? Quality service, low prices.
They hurt local business and make things uglier wherever they go. Centralization of economies is never good for people in my opinion. There are many hidden costs that pjdude pointed out.
Union busting. Crushing suppliers. Restricting the freedom of speech of employees. Child labor. Affecting democratic decisions. Destruction of family businesses. Censorship. And a heck of a lot more.

"They hurt local businesses"........that's because they can out-compete the local businesses. That's not "wrong" or "evil"......Wal-Mart wouldn't be hurting local businesses if the businesses could compete, but they can't. So Wal-Mart grows and is successful. What's wrong with that?
That depends upon what you think the word evil means. There are companies that make weapons to use to kill people. Another produces chemicles that pollute everything. then there's the coal companies who also pollute everything. Fishing companies harvets millions of tons of fish which depletes those fish to amost nothing. So take your pick as to which one you think are the worst because there's to many to choose from to pick only one.:shrug:

They outsource some of the production of their products to sweatshops. Would you knowingly buy a product from Walmart with child sweat on its hands? Or is that good and fair business practices in your opinion?
I figure this method of buying and shipping things from foreign countries won't go on much longer. As natural gas runs out these commodities will get more and more expensive and locality will return.
It takes less energy for many small gears to turn a large one than the other way around. (is there a way to say this more poetically?)
They have the abilty to use cheap foriegn labour and they treat their employees like shit they don't out compete they have an serious advanteges that give them an unfair edge.

Nope. Killing them humanely for consumption is one thing. Kicking them around like soccer balls, ripping their beaks off, and any other torture is barbaric. You must have missed the memo. When this got out KFC's were closing all over the country within a year.
