Who else is sick of the world?

Anybody else out there sick of how stupid and hateful and helpless much of the world is? Does anybody else feel like this world is a lose-lose situation? that we will either be forced to be the "bad guys" and invade countries and kill people or even worse not invade and then sit back and wait for the real bad guys to kill us? I am about ready to just put all of our time and money into the Space Progarm to look for some planet for America to colonize so we can escape the stupididty of this world before everyone kills each other over religion and other rididculous issues. Planet America... wow now that sounds like paradise.

So Planet America would not have the Christian extremists who make up such a huge and influential portion of our population? How are you going to keep them from coming?

im not saying it would be perfect, but itd be better. And ya id say to keep out any extremists; the only religions allowed are those whose followers practice their religion without interfering with others at all. Or we could just keep out all religions. After all, America was created to be a secular country (and if you disagree, check out the back of a dollar bill where it says "new secular world order" in latin).

And hey, we may still have domestic problems and crime, but at least we can just arrest those people instead of having to invade countries and look in caves for criminals.

Or how about only the good people are allowed to come? lol that is a joke.

Next time i go for gas or go to blimpies (Muslim owned) i'm gonna tell them Bush is at war with them and wait for them to call the cops on me....or kick me in the ass.
 
You know reality depends entirely on your perspective. It's both a dangerous and a safe place. It's peaceful and it's a hellhole. It's fun and it's boring. It's so much of everything that I can't be pessimistic or write it all off. For the most part, we aren't really asked to make much of a personal sacrifice for world events, so it all seem a little unreal.

Dude, I'm an atheist not because I hate my Christian relatives and wish I didn't share DNA with them.

I'm an atheist because I merely disagree with some of the fundamental assumptions they have about reality -- as they disagree with some of mine.

We agree to disagree; we're not going to kill each other -- we're Family.

I've heard bible thumpers on other forums say its pointless to worry about the environment, because its all in Gods hands anyway huh.

As an American, I don't see how "Planet America" would help. See, our prosperity depends on a massive support structure in the form of a stupid and helpless portion of the world. Hatred is just the polluting byproduct of this process. I think a more fundamental solution would be to figure out how to get past the American dependency. We could get rid of currency, I suppose, but that would just throw economics and morality into a turmoil.
