Who can help me in UCSF Chimera?

I needed some program for visualizing the biomolecules, proteins and nucleic acids. I was told that UCSF Chimera is one of the best program for this purpose:

I downloaded it but I have got no idea how to use it. Do I need to download the 3D model of the protein? Or do I need to download data of the protein (the exact coordinates of all atoms of proteins) from Protein Data Bank? :rolleyes:
 
How can I stretch the actual window (with white background where the molecule is shown) to the whole screen?
