Who attacked whom? The UN, an internationally recognized body designed to resolve disputes, decided to partition the Palestinian territories, which were not a sovereign nation, they were a colony of the UK. In response, 5 Arab nations attacked the Jews with their armies.

This is the event that we should be talking about, not the minor injustices which were the consequence of attacking the Jews.

The people that left didn't want to be part of Israel, they wanted to clear the area so that the killing of the Jews could proceed unhindered. You don't let such traitors back into your midst.
