When is racism okay?

Yeah an elite bunch of people that did not include the poor white anglo saxons now just include rich white people of European heritage who may not even be anglo-saxons but are indisputably white

No Sam there are WASP's who don't have 'old money'.

So what? What community of wealthy people are not insular? Are African americans who have a lot of money and have their own cotillions and only marry into other wealthy black families any different? No not really. I mean what is Paige Johnson supposed to do with her horseback riding and mingling with other kids who's father's are also billionaires. She's black and her father sits next to presidents at the dinner table and I don't mean Obama.

Is it that Lakshmi Mittal didn't marry his daughter off to another wealthy man of the similar class? Is it that he merges with the unwashed masses of India in his living room on a saturday night? The man isn't poor anymore Sam and his children will always marry their economic and social equals Get real Sam you are not even being remotely genuine.

Again do you think that black misses Paige Johnson who's father is a black billionaire is hanging around with anyone not of her elite social status? No of course not so why target WASP's for doing what is natural for the wealthy.

Paige Johnson is black and wealthy shouldn't she be proud of the fact that she's black and wealthy? Especially with all that history of racism and all? Black, free and American can't go wrong with that combination.

The french can be cocky that way as well, and the Danes, and the English...well I think you get the picture. The wealthy have their own brand of pride.

Just like you are proud of your muslim traditions.

I don't see any particular attribute that makes my brown skin better than any other,[its a hindrance to vitamin D metabolism subdermally] I'm not sure what Paige Johnson has to be proud of in her skin colour other than her "race" has achieved the social distinction of being counted among humans in society. It would be like Mayawati being proud of her darker skin tone no longer making her an untouchable in Hindu society. I would be highly skeptical of any claim of Laxmi Mittal that he is proud of his brown skin, when it is impossible to get him to donate one well in any village of brown skinned inhabitants in India

But, I am not at all surprised that the WASP is made up of people who think they are better than others.
 
Its not the skin color again its cultural. Even black pride is a demonstration of all things african, caribbean, african american music and artistry are all part of black pride. So what is it you don't understand about it?

WASP's are proud of their contribution to american history. It is you that say they think they are better than others. But like I said go to some of the prestigious black families and you will get a new education on snobbery.

Why not there were clubs in Harlem where a white kid would be turned away at the door? Didn't you ever see spike lee's Jungle Fever? White women with black men were truly frowned upon. Also you won't find too many white or poor people at a black cotillon, I mean surely they must keep up appearances. You know only stereotypes about American culture Sam/
 
I know that when black people feel proud about their culture, they refer to things like this:

So you take that and you think that they it is representative of the black experience right? All blacks feel this way right? The fact is that you do not 'know' anything about black people feel when they feel proud about culture. This is something you are arrogant enough to think that you can tell me about. There are blacks in my family Sam. You are just a condescending person who assumes you understand what being african american is about and you are full of shit. When he makes policy that makes it alright to refer to whites as one-fifth human, it will be relevant.

So you know better than he does do you? You are suddenly an expert on the black people? You can speak for blacks? You who were ignorant enough to say that the only blacks who were successful were the ones who 'acted white' and who seemed to thing that the pinnacle of black achievement was the obama election. Yes it was a cause of celebration but you basically seem to think that before this blacks had achieved nothing at all, something many white americans even know isn't true at this point in time. It was insulting and condescending Sam but you wouldn't know that because I can tell that you don't know that much about african americans so please don't waste your time trying to tell me about black people.
