Please help me with my sis to identify this species.

It looks so unreal. Almost like a photoshop edit, but nature is so inventive that..

Here's a page in Japanese about it, but no one of us understands that.

a lemur?

there are many different species, some much weirder than that. I'll see if I kind find a pic of cactus hopping lemurs for you.

Looks like some kind of civet.
I'm not particularly familiar with the different kinds of civet though.

He looks so proud of himself as man the hairy hunter. However it seems quite obvious that he only bagged the poor little shit to make new socks.
What a teeny peeny

Definitely a civet. I've seen plenty of them in wildlife documentaries. Perhaps even in the San Diego zoo. It's a feline, you can tell by the supple way it bends its back and by the haunches. Lemurs are primates, primitive monkeys as it were. Their legs don't bend that way, and they don't have the eyes-in-almost-the-same-plane arrangement of hunters, but a somewhat wider field of view like all prey animals.

That unknown animal in the other photo may be the same species, it's not easy to compare two still shots from different angles. It certainly looks like a civet.

I saw summin' like that once, that wasn't a Civet...forgot the name though...

I'm going with Goofy and putting my money on a Spotted Linsang...those pictures look almost identical. It's likely closely related to a civet though.

Errr... from the link: The spotted linsang is the smallest of all the civets...

;) Peace.

I knew it was a civit right away when the picture came up. . . I've gotta' stop hanging around with furrys.

I didn't read anything, I just looked at the pics. But, I guess that shows me that I shouldn't do that.
