Definitely a civet. I've seen plenty of them in wildlife documentaries. Perhaps even in the San Diego zoo. It's a feline, you can tell by the supple way it bends its back and by the haunches. Lemurs are primates, primitive monkeys as it were. Their legs don't bend that way, and they don't have the eyes-in-almost-the-same-plane arrangement of hunters, but a somewhat wider field of view like all prey animals.
That unknown animal in the other photo may be the same species, it's not easy to compare two still shots from different angles. It certainly looks like a civet.
