What's pseudoscience?

Science is hard core fact. Proven, repeatable, demonstrable time and again.
Pseudoscience is often laced with hearsay, speculation, and I heard of (but not provable).
Pseudo means false.

Pseudoscience is a set of ideas based on theories claimed to be scientific when they are NOT scientific.

Theories can ONLY be scientific if they explain empirical phenomena and can be empirically tested. One must be able to deduce empirical predictions from theories, by "Falsifiability", as per Karl Popper. Pseudoscientists enjoy pointing out consistencies in their theories, although this alone does not constitute proof. Pseudoscientists use this along with refusal to give up their theories despite evidence it is false, selective data use, personal anecdotes as evidence, lack of concern over absence of evidence to support their theories, use of myths and mysteries to explain myths and mysteries, and gullibility.
