What is pseudo-christianity?

M*W: I heard a friend talking the other day who said there are two christianities: One is the christianity he believes in, and the other is pseudo-christianity which was created by Satan!

For the christians on this site, has anybody else ever heard of these two christianities?

For the atheists on this site, does this mean we have to work twice as hard to destroy the beast?
 
My guess pseudo means fake christians.

But I heard so much that I don't believe anything anymore.
 
Sounds to me like your friend is a member of a certain denomination that believes that his little cabal of Christians are the only true believers, and the rest of the world is filled with those following a false god ultimately to end up in Hell. In any event, he's got it half right.

Your friend is misinformed. There is no such thing as "pseudo-Christianity" created by Satan. Unless he meant the Black Mass and such.

I'd say pseudo-christians are all the hypocrites using religion as a way of making money, like televangelists and perhaps the victims of these scams who think they'll buy their way to heaven.
