What do you believe in & why

Simple question, complicate answers. In what do you believe and why do you do so? I would really like to know.
I would like to know why you are Christian, Muslim, Agnostic, Atheist, etc.

(If you belong to some small, nearly unknown religion or however you want to define it, please give information or a link to some site or others ways of information.)

Well, given the fact that I believe in nothing I seem to be a nihilist by definition. From time to time I even think I do not exist. Ah, well, why I do believe in nothing is not so complicated, years ago I started to question everything, I excluded myself from christianity and drifted over to modern satanism. Their ideas seemed reasonable but I soon found them worthless. From questioning everything I did not get a truth, I could not find one in any other religion either. I came to the conclusion that there are no truths, without truth there is nothing that has any meaning for me. For me all is worthless thus I am a nihilist. A person who does nothing and cares about nothing. I am just biding my time.
 
I'm a Christian because I believe that Jesus walked this Earth and was what he said he was.

On a more personal level, I've seen people save their own lives through Christianity. People addictied to drugs, pornography or just living through awful circumstances. I've seen people become literally born anew. They prayed the prayer of salvation and invited the Holy Spirit to come into their lives and it did. It's ok if you don't understand, I wouldn't believe me either if I wasn't saved and was reading this post.
 
It is not a bad reason I think, not bad at all. I can see why you believe (I can not understand it, that is true).

I believe in me, :p
born and raised atheist I figured very early that Im the only person I can truly rely on.

I believe in people, human beings guess I am a humanist. I think that the words of Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi are a helpful guide. All institutionalized religions that I am familiar with are corrupt. I believe there is some higher power or entity or whatever but it is beyond needing worhip etc. I know but I just don't know :p
 
I worship the Capitalists and the fantastic money-holying society they have created for us. You know you all do too to some degree, seeing you live with it... except for you commies!

You are confusing an economic system with a belief system. One is a way of putting bread on the table the other is a way of giving life meaning.
