What can be done with an Amiga? Hallucinogenic material.

Here is a video of a winner of a video contest of last year using "Amiga" hardware from 1994. It's pretty amazing. The song isn't bad either. :)

That is what google tells me an Amiga game looked like, so I am even more impressed.

Holy crap that's good. I was expected to learn graphic design on one of these. What a joke. I guess it's capable of more than I thought.

As an owner of an Amiga that video's better than I expected. Although I'm sure the Amiga fell short of its potential I wasn't quite expecting something so good, although my Amiga is the older chipset; It does look as though the new one was never given time to be pushed to its true limits.
I should point out that in your pic the game is called rick dangerous, and I believe was very much developed with the old chipset in mind, as I say the new one is better but was never really pushed to its limits.
The two pictured Amiga's are an A500, which uses the old chipset, and I believe a A1200(maybe A4000?) which has the new one.
Anyone confirm my inane ramblings?

I miss my Amiga....I had a 1000 and a 3000. They were sooo ahead of their time. It makes me sad they fizzled out.

As far as babylon5, I can see how even cheap computers could be used as a render "farm", although you might not be able to view the results on one.

Amiga had the "Video Toaster" that gave the amiga extraordinary great video capabilities for it's time. Lightwave 3D was bundled with the toaster...which is the program used for B5.

amiga's were awesome...soo far ahead in it's time

I had an Amiga500 for a couple of years, it was my first computer and it got me hooked. Very cool machine
