No not the one about the chicken and the egg...

Did people/monkeys (or whatever) learn how to communicate before or after the idea of god arived?

This is difficult to proove because you would have to be able to communicate to record the fact that you knew about God before you could communicate...

You get the idea!:)

Communication, because its a useful survival trait I can't prove it but its logical to assume that humans didn't start worrying about their origins until survial was somewhat easy.

Communication, no question about that. Religion is a much more complex brain activity than some simple communications throught noise making and body expression.

Sarcastic Answer...

Both were created at exactly the same time because god created adam with complete knowledge of both.

My thoughts on the matter are this...

If religion came first then people wouldn't have been able to communicate this fact, and alot more things would have had to happen for every one to believe it,

but if communication came first, could we not assume that religion was the first practical joke? I am not saying this in a horrible way as I happen to believe in God...

What do you think...?

God prepare religion, teach first human to communicate, then start to speak about religion. :D

detailed

God prepare religion:
He create universe, including heaven, hell, genie and angels, in different space-time. And define rules for each space-time (religion is rules).

God teach first human to communicate:
He tell first human about what are these stuffs and those stuffs.

God start to speak about religion:
Said to first human: "I am God, create universe. I'm the master, you're my creation, my slaves, my puppet", that the basic concept of religion.
More: "Do anything you want. But don't go near to that fruit!", that the only rule of first 'religion'.

Adam came first Into eve. Who begat Cain and Able (apparently:rolleyes: ) no-one knows who they came into but for the first man and woman to have but two sons does fall down a lot when it comes to human genesis!

Fear excists from far before mankind started to actually communicate. Early humans were afraid of the thunder, of fire and so on, while the capability of communication was not there yet.

The bible talks nonsense anyways. How can there have been but two man-like figures on this planet? And from those two we are all descending?

That is a lot of imbreeding.

If all humans are designed after the likeness of this God, then why didn't he take this likeness away again after Adam and Eve had showed themselves unworthy of him? And then the next question appears: Why did he create this tree of wisdom in the first place if it was the purpose not to let it be used by his little designed figures. And why was the snake made vicious from the earliest creation?

That means God created an evil being, while creating the snake.

Anyways, I'm wandering off topic now. My apologies.

I think communication came first, and to stay "in touch" with the good God, let's say this was so because mankind could spread the word...

What two man-like figures? What snake? :bugeye:
Urr... I don't understand what you mean. I read Qur'an, not Bible. Similar tough, but much more make sense.

No, not out of topic. Qur'an defenitely, says that God teach first human (Adam. not Adamski :D) to speak, by telling name of stuffs. The whole things about tree and something else is His game (I've post about this in other thread, I forgot which one).
