rev 20: 4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them, and the souls of those who have been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus, and because of the word of God, and who did not bow before the beast, nor his image, and did not receive the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand, and they did live and reign with Christ the thousand years;

then compared to Rev 22:4

and they shall see His face, and His name [is] upon their foreheads

so either way, some are getting marked or all are getting marked

what mark is the 'good' one?

Rev 20:4 is referring to the mark of the beast, whereas Rev 22:4 is referring to the seal of god. For Christians, I'd reckon the latter be the "good" one.

As I understand it, the mark of the beast will cause immortality of this flesh that we're in now, and those who opt out will be martyred, inheriting something greater.

in the OT what is the mark or seal?

i am working on them both as well

(i am comparing, a few renditions, OT to NT and also the applicability)

whereas Rev 22:4 is referring to the seal of god.

Daniel 12:4 And thou, O Daniel, hide the things, and seal the book till the time of the end, many do go to and fro, and knowledge is multiplied.'

Daniel 12:9
And he saith, `Go, Daniel; for hidden and sealed [are] the things till the time of the end;

When i noticed these 2, it seems like He was told the understanding of his works will not be understood until 'them days'....

but that seal item is no so clearly to be 'the seal of God'..... if that is what you are looking for, then it seems better that the 'name' of god would be most applicable

IMO, the throne on high as it is described in the book of revelations has no more of a chance in being any more real than Zeus: Master of Olympus.

While some pursue the things of the flesh (mo money)

perhaps: ..living longer means knowing what life is and what is good (to support life to continue) and inherit eternal life by your choice(s)


could everyone, equally, be capable of understanding?

could knowledge be the good 'upon the head'?
