!we Won The Eurovision!

Yes so you did, congratulations then...
Hrrmmm, although it was a HORRIBLE song!!!
I liked Lithuania and Cyprus better, and the three stewardesses, from what country were they?

the winning is all that matters:p
and I never argue aboout the taste (if it's not webdesign)

and the three stewardesses, from what country were they?
you think those three transsexuals or those girls from Sweeden?

The transes of course, although I don't think they were real transexuals. I think they had just dressed up funny for the occasion. Sweden didn't do so good this year, but at least we're still in for next year.

I've been listening to a lot of Lithuanian music lately, and exploring Lithuanian culture in books and on video.

The bloch voting of countries in the Eurovision contest is very funny to watch as an outsider (along with the rest of the competition).

For example, which states gave Latvia the largest number of points? Hmmm....? The ones next door, perhaps?

Good For Latvia...

:) Congratulations Avatar, with the winning of this "wonderful" festival. :) it is indeed good to hear Latvia won. :)

Can you tell me who patricipated for the Netherlands this year? I am just to lazy to search the internet for it. Do you know on which place they ended?

Just curious. It's a poor excuse for Music and good Songs, the Eurovision Song Festival. Although, so once in a while there is a good song, when you look real hard.;)

Gossip then...what about the Swedish Transes...? :bugeye:

Because it was only one click away, I checked out the link in which the contest for this year is mentioned.

Why is the Netherlands not there? Now I'm really curious. :bugeye:

Guess I have to read the Dutch newspapers a little more.

I watch Eurovision every year, I love it. A friend competed int eh Swedish finals for Eurovision a while back. Some very good acts now and then.

actually they were Spain and Germany and France as well I think.

oof course also our neighbour country Lithuania (btw many latvians went there to vote. the same did the lithuanians going to our country.) And I think tht greece and cyprus did the same thing.

Nederland op het strafbankje

banshee,
THe Dutch came in last (or so) last year. So this year they couldn't compete. I have no clue when "we" can join again. probably next year

Thanx Merlijn...

Hahaha, it figures! :) The Netherlands better start practising then, so they have something to send in next year. :p

I'll look for it in the newspapers today, for fun... :)

Avatar, still, it is great Latvia won, doesn't matter where the votes came from...;)

Hmmmmmmm

Yep, I liked your song...

Groove on..!! :)

(BTW- she's so hot, the singer, right? ;) )

What do u think about "Light a candle"?

Personally, I think there were too many close-ups at the Israeli singer, Sarit Hadad.

Anyway, I'm so proud of her. :)

Did u see the Robots from Greece??? Gee, lol!! :)

love,
Gil Weinstein

Actually I voted for the Israeli girl;). I liked the language mix and the song was good too. I liked the closeups:D

Those robots were laughable. Looked like artifacts from the early 80s. The song was awful.

See some more of Israeli beauty next year in Latvia:)

Cheers!

Yes, the robots were chockingly hilarious, and they sang really, really baaad.
Usually I enjoy watching what they wear to find inspiration, but this year it was impossible, it was a cascade in bad taste....yuck!
The only thing I liked was the golden bodyformed top, don't remeber what country...

B e b e l i n a: thanks for your vote on Lithuania..;)
Lykan: what do you find about Lithuania so exciting..? It's culture is very old and boring and NOT cool..
