I have a tip to flame or be defensive without hurting your reputation!

Use the Unsent Letter technique. Either start writing a post or a profile comment saying all the nasty things you want and then Don't Click Submit/Send! instead, hit back.

Trust me, it really works and you end up feeling much, much better.

Even better: Write it, post it, then erase it before the mods notice. Or, write it and color the text white, that way no one will see it until they reply (or for some reason they highlight the text).

It seems that no forum is safe from the plague of fruitless bickering, unnecessary comments, and idiocy. I'm not saying you are part of that at all.

Maybe so...But, that's life on the internet..

Of course, you could start your own forum where you control the content and quality of all posts...But, lets face it, not many people would join a forum like that.

Oh, I guess it wasn't clear. I wasn't referring to what you said. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was merely responding to the fact that people will bicker and be idiots without even caring.

There is a certain amount of fun in it all . Not for the faint of heart brother, but you know what they say about throwing stones at the glass house don't you. Watch out for the broken glass

Like the time I kicked Rudy Sutton in the nads and escorted him out the door for slamming his girl friend against the wall by her hair only to give him a job the very next day and when he said some one kicked me in the nads and ruptured me I could only say. It was Me and don't ever and I mean EvEr come to my house and act like that again. He then said O.K. thanks for the job

I second that.

I regularly scream profanities and obscenitites, launch vicious personal attacks, question people sanity, sexuality, personal hygiene, etc. Then, 99.9% of the time, I hit "back" instead of "submit".
