If you're a mormon, you owe it to yourself, to at least go to LA, they have 2 exhibits until Nov 15th, on Tut & Mayan Kings, you'll get to see 2 so-called BoM cultures side-by-side (almost)
listen, if you are serious about connecting LDS & Mayas, check them out, see any similarity? report back soon, because I didn't see any

you need pre-paid tickets ($22-$30) to get in to the Tut exhibit ($5 parking @ LACMA complex, takes about 1 hr just waiting to get in, 2.5 hrs to see & truly enjoy it),
the other exhibits (in diff building), are free that day with ticket stub, $5 off entrance fee if you use stub later or $9 if you just want to see the other exhibits
