Also beauty seems not only in the eye but very much in the nose (feromones) of the beholder. TheChosen mentioned well divided DNA produced symmetrical faces, wich gives an indication about the quality of the DNA. Also there is something very very important known as immune system. even in the most primitive cultures measures are taken to prevent inbreeding (well maybe not in Louisiana) because as we all know causes all kinds of problems. Nature has given humans a mechanisism of smelling the feromones of a potential partner that really must be diffrent in order to shake the cards a bit, otherwise we would loose the war agains viral diseases....

So yess, sometimes your offspring is better with a butt-ugly father or mother but with the right"smell".

Man do I hate that style of feminism.
Women seem to think they have unfair expectations. That movie stars and pop stars being gorgeous makes it harder for them. In case anyone didn't notice - it's actually the exact same situation for men.
