Reminds me of the third grade, when I shortened my name from "Mitchell" to "Mitch" and .00000156 seconds later became "Mitch the Bitch"...been "Mitch the Bitch" ever since. It's just something that comes with the name. It's just way to easy. What's funny is when people call me that, and think..like..they're the first person to think of it. Idiots.
Unfortunately he got banned to stop double standards. It was really requested by a number of the posters that usually complain about moderators. They pointed out that others were banned for purposely using the misnamed version of Asguard, so why not GeoffP?
If it had just been down to Moderators rather than trying to balance out standards amongst the membership, GeoffP probably wouldn't of got banned for the duration of 24 hr's. So if you want someone to complain about for the ban, look no further than the lynch mob that usually tries to undermine moderators.
Btw GeoffP, I'm glad you weren't serious about running off into the sunset. At least you had the chance to make a goodbye thread before we make new rules on them.... Mwhahaha! (j/k)
Hi there. I just wanted to say that I'm not leaving Sciforums.
Why not?? Hasn't this place made you feel unwanted , foolish, or other types of weird things that make you not want to stay? :shrug:
Since people love saying "Goodbye", I thought it would make sense to just have one thread for all of you to say Goodbye so as to help clean up the about the members section.
For New members to this forum, it should be made known that a lot of people here at Sciforums like saying Goodbye just to make it look like they left, when in reality they hide in the backgrounds pretending not to be here, waiting for someone to say something that they just have to break silence and reply too.
It should be known however that this forum is *Free* to sign-up to, however should you want to leave you must pay $10's for the Administration charges of your leaving.
Okay, I lied about the fee, it's a joke...
Anyhow, what this thread will entail is simple. All previous goodbye threads will be MERGED into this one thread. This will create a bit of a mess in regards to knowing whom was saying goodbye to who, but at the end of the day it's all the same anyway. (Someone says goodbye, people respond saying fairwell etc)
All new "Goodbye Threads" started by members will be merged with this thread in future. So you aren't being censored from Goodbye's.
So with that in mind, GOODBYE! to all those leaving.
