as for me I have found my love in the arms of Toyota.
Toyota Celica.. unfortunately the GT-S version would be too expensive for me. It is 17 000 GB pounds. The cheaper version is 13 000GB pounds, and I think I could take a lone in the bank in some 2 or 3 years.

I don't have a job. I can't find one in the job oasis of the place I live in! There are none to be found! No gruntwork, nothing!

Pollux, I'm in the same situation:(
I'm thinking of promoting my web page making skills on net, so I could maybe work international. Actually the page will be ready in two weeks, just as the other page, you are aware of;)

we should make a fund . named smth like-> "Save two poor children" or " Donate to the hungry ones" or smth other tht sounds cute and miserable. maybe "Save the future of two boys in need of help"
you caould pay by "paypal" or a dirrect money transfer:)

How can you find a job if you live in uncharted territories? :D

I bought a new Celica GT right after they came out in 1990. I hated to part with that car.

it's fantastic isn't it.

My father had Toyota Corrola for some time. Then I learned to appriciate Toyotas quality.

but Celica is smth I would want.
It's my fobidden fruit:rolleyes: :D :(
I love it, yet I can't have it. For the next 2 or 3 or maybe even 4 or 6 years atleast. it'll depend on my luck.

Why did you have to sell it, wet1?
too old?

I do a lot of traveling. I change vehicles regulary. While the Celica had many fine years left I have learned to go ahead and get another vehicle while it is still a bargain for others. You mention a Corolla. I bought one of those in '84. If you want dependability and fuel savings it is the way to go. If this sounds like a commercial for Toyota, it is not. They are fine vehicles but there are others just as good. From those times to now I have also owed a Mazda, a Nisson, and a Chevy.
