It reminded me of a show that I saw on PBS a couple of year ago. The scientists on the show were explaining the role that the temporal lobe plays in spirituality. It looks like we should then assume that religious fantasies are indeed self generated, correct?

It appears the studies suggest that the boundary between 'self' and 'not-self' is one such fantasy.
