Suicide

A friend of mine once said that people who talk about commiting suicide all the time are just attention seekers, and those that are really suicidle just get on and do it.

So what does everyone think? Are people that keep talking about it merely attention seeking? (And by this I mean either trying to get help, or just doing it to get their own way/emotionally blackmail/or have some..fun?)

I think some people talk about suicide to get attention, but others may actually be genuinely unhappy with their life. Similarly, those who do actually commit suicide, some of them think theyll survive, and only do it to get attention (but don't surivive).

I think about commiting a suicide.
But that's a lot later.
I'm think that to die in bed from ilnesses is miserable.
When I'm old enough that I start to see my body deceiving me,
I'm going to organise a huge party with indian dancers and vine pouring ............... and overdose drugs.

Just like the ancient Romans and Greeks , when they knew they were sentenced to death.

Consider or contemplate? If a talkative person considers suicide often, they're likely to talk about it often.

Contemplate, sure, I do that all the time. Fantasizing about one's death is as fun as fantasizing about sex.

Edit to add:

Avatar: I like that. I was always partial to Cleopatra's method of choice, or to swimming out to sea and not swimming back.

Avatar that's nice idea. :p

Another good one would be that native way to go out alone in the wilderness and never come back. Though it would be nasty if you got almost starved and too tired to move and then got eaten alive by ants or something... nah. Wine and women(s) sounds better. :)
