First off: :bugeye:
The Universe is multidemsional, and there-in, lay consciousness which is bound to certain "time-zone-frequencies."
As one person put it, a thousand years in human time could be a day to the consciousness of God. God is ancient.
When growing up to adulthood, time seams to increase in velocity because the consciousness grows, having experienced and recorded more time since having achieved adulthood, the short moment of "now" becomes perspectively shorter.
With a newborn child, the first minute of its life, at that moment was 100% of the time it had been breathing on its own.
At age 10 minutes, the first minute is now only 10% the length of its breathing existence. This is how time increases in perceptive speed. When a being becomes ancient, there is no telling how it percieves time.
That said, spirits which progress choose to move into different frequencies after death, one persons frequency of time may after death, be quite slow, and anothers may be extremely fast.
