Just a quickie....

What do spiders do on this Earth? Their whole existence cannot be based around catching flys... can it?

any ideas...

Spiders have filled an evolutionary niche. They are adept at catching flying critters.

From the oriental, who learned to make use of the spider came silk. It was such a marvelous material that it became a trade item that spread around the world. Well known for its properties of strength, lightness, and the sheer luxurious feel upon the skin.

Some of the better known spiders of which we fear, found in my neck o' the woods are the Black Widow and the Brown Recluse.

Nature produced spiders specifically because there was a niche to fill in peoples' socks. Something had to crawl into socks to freak teh hell out of humans. So evolution gave us spiders. :p

It is indeed an interesting place. For those who come here, many have found it to be both a source of knowledge and entertainment supreme.

Spiders serve me.

Welcome to our world, milee!

Spiders serve me.

Please take them to your world. I dislike looking under some old board before I pick it up incase there may be a suprise.

I once found a black widow under a chuck of wood I was going to pick up. I found another on the bumper of a car I once had while I was raising the garage door. I hate those kind of suprises.

spiders are cool

i woke up one day and there was a huntsmen on my pillow

it was cute

I like Spiders too.

Haha, I agree on that part. :) I hate the flying creatures, biting me on every place they can find. They attack at six places at the same time. So I go for the Spiders. Then I love how the women Spiders eat the males after they've done their job. :p

In Utrecht, a place I went out, there was a shop aside the Bar where we used to go. There they had big and beautiful Tarantula's and Black Widows in the window, packed in little glass boxes. How cruel. I always felt the urge to set them free. Stupid people to put the Spiders so disrespectful in little glass boxes. Grrrrr...

Welcome to Sciforums Milee. :)

Oh, you can believe this. All spiders are trapped in my world. So, if you have to deal with spiders...

You must be living in MY WORLD !:D :D :D

Yep! :) They are very socialized. Die, so their ofspring will live...:p

I like them anyways, am not afraid to find them too. Coakroaches on the other hand I hate...:)

what a nonsens, sorry Asguard. I really like Spiders, can't help it...

I think spiders and all insects are bio-mechanical robots sent here by extraterrestrials to spy on us. Look at them, how they move, how do they move, what's inside them? They're cameras and we're the entertainment. No creature needs 8 F'ing eyes. Earth is the 'Real World' to some advanced society on another planet.

As a matter of fact what am I talking about? I think we're bio-mechanical robots. Robots I tell you, artificial intelligence. What's the difference between flesh & blood or metal & oil. We fall apart, make hospitals to "repair" ourselves. We even replace parts when they don't work anymore.
We have no souls and we're all gonna die.
