If you exist then spacetime does as well. 
Well, the English is slightly paradoxical, but you have the right idea. Particles create waves, so you can't have waves on their own. Einstein added space-time because the Aether seemed impossible to find. If you can find the Aether, you can get rid of space-time. Now it seems to me that the Aether has been found as Dark Matter, Dark Flow, and particle wave duality in the two slit experiment. Scientists want to ignore it, because for some reason, they don't like to go back to something that they removed. Well they should show a bit of dignity.. science isn't about red faces, science is about the truth. At least CERN know that.
Having said that... spacetime in science will remain for some time. So you are supposed to say it exists, and be a parrot.
They did that with the cosmological constant and perhaps now the speed of light limit for the universe. Clearly scientists are willing to say "We were wrong" and correct mistakes, you just want to convince yourself otherwise so you have an excuse why you're ignored.
If it is your idea, we can be sure it is not true or more precisely incorrect.
